y500 bios

Hello, techinferno!

Help me please, i have problem.

I update bios from 2.02 to 2.04 and when i launch and my notebook restarted, 100% install complete, he restart again and he give me that error:

EFI Network 0 for IPv6 boot failed

and

EFI Network 0 for IPv4 boot failed

but hard disks not missing! All normal.

Model of notebook ~ Lenovo y500.

yeah your bios might of reset you could try setting to ahci mode and make sure your hd is your first boot drive, move network boot option down below hdd, odd , usb etc. Unless your operating system is on your network which I dont think this is the case here. the reinstall might not be required i dont know either. You might need to go through and enable legacy boot if there is an option on Lenovo.

I did have similar problem when updating bios from 2.02 to 2.04 before but solved it by just enabling legacy boot. Yes, there is legacy boot option in lenovo.
