debsubha
After downgraing to windows 7 my notebook does not show any ssd partition. Is there any tweak to get it back?
lenovont
What do you see in the Disk Management snap-in? You can get to it by right-clicking My Computer and selecting Manage. In the window that pops up there should be an item on the left pane called "Storage" with Disk Management underneath. From there you can see if Windows knows about the disk at all. If it does, you'll see Disk N with no drive letter assigned to it, which I'd guess is a formatting issue. If it doesn't show up at all someone more familiar with Windows will have to help you out. slate
All problems with the 16 gb ssd are fixed with an upgrade. I highly recommend getting a new ssd. I even splurged and got a 500gb one and now have boot speeds that are insane. Makes a huge difference!
Theraardelia
I put a new SSD in my Alienware 18, I have never seen a computer load so fast. And i put Guild wars 2 on it, the game I play with usually the longest load time. I'm in game in seconds every time now. It's absolutely great.
