MassiveOni Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 Heya,my new clevo p375sm-a has just been shipped, and the retailer told me that they had been having problems with the p375sm-a dropping the samsung 2tb hard drives, and forcing you to restart the laptop, and did i want to change the hard drives for something else, from all of my googling i have not found anyone else with a problem like this, and i spoke to another retailer how sell this laptop, and he told me, he has never heard of a problem like this,so im now asking the internets, does anyone own a clevo p375sm-a with samsung 2tb hard drives? and if so, have they had this problem or heard of this problem,the other reason i am asking is cause i have had some problems with the retailer by stuffing me around with the delivery date (they told me i will have it within 5 days) and that was 3 weeks ago, then it went from clevo doesnt have any of the p375sm-a or the w230ss models, and they dont have any stock of the 4940 cpu for the 375, on a friday, to they have both been shipped on a monday.cheers for everyones helpmassiveoni Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sh1nRa358 Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Sounds like a clevo problem with that laptop if it's true. I have a 9380-s and have no problems with those harddrives at all. I have 2 installed. But then again, I got the external versions and took them out of their casing to make them internal so who knows. SamBSam Posted April 26, 2015 Share Posted April 26, 2015 Did you get any resolution of your problem? - I have an identical problem with my Clevo P375SM-A - it is getting progressively worse and can only access my second drive every 8 or 9 boot ups.The disc access light flashes continuously and the laptop starts to heat up and it continuously tries to poll the missing drive Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
