W35xST Prema Mod v2 - Random power loss

Hi,

I've been using the BIOS prema mod v2 with a Clevo W350STQ for the past week.

While mostly all is working perfectly including silent fans, i'm having a more serious issue with random power loss.

It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to cause concern.

Any ideas what this could be? At a last resort i will have to revert back to an official clevo BIOS.

Each time the power loss happens i get the following Critial log in the event viewer with source EventLog:

The previous system shutdown at 11:33:10 on ‎21/‎08/‎2014 was unexpected.

Just before this happens i get an information log in the event viewer with source Kernel-Boot and this is reported each time i lose power:

The firmware reported boot metrics.

My system spec is as follows:

Chassis & Display Optimus Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Processor (CPU) Intel® CoreTMi7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-4700MQ (2.40GHz) 6MB

Memory (RAM) 12GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (3 x 4GB)

Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M - 2.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11

Hard Disk 240GB INTEL® 520 SERIES SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 550MB/sR | 520MB/sW)

Please help!

Thanks

rosman.

rosman, did this work?

I updated the BIOS on my Clevo W350ST to the PremaMod one before I sold it to my son, and now he's saying it randomly cut out too!  I'm thinking it might be best to just restore the stock BIOS...
